Acrelec America is seeking a self-motivated Sales Specialist. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, and successfully cultivating new and repeat business sales. The ideal candidate has a background in sales, technology and the quick service restaurant industry and is a blend of inside sales and account management. This position will provide an excellent opportunity to further one’s sales career within an innovative and growing organization. This position reports to the Partner Manager.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
  • Contact and sell approved products to approved brands
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight that they are a solution to customer challenges
  • Cold calling as needed
  • Interface with all members of the sales team and prospects as the main point of contact for all customer needs
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationshipsDevelop a strong product knowledge and provide customers with answers and solutions to inquiries
  • Submit regular sales activity reports into the company’s CRM software, and maintain accurate and updated
  • records for all leads in customer database
  • Prepare sales agreements
  • Own ultimate responsibility for successfully meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
  • Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
  • Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies in order to provide an accurate representation of the
  • company to all current and prospective customers

 

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years sales experience; quick service restaurant environment preferred
  • Minimum of Associates degree
  • Up to 20% travel as needed
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, planning and coordinating skills required
  • High attention to detail and consistent demonstration of strong work ethic
  • Self-starter with ability to thrive both autonomously and with a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Appropriate judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
